We offer both soft ( electronic) and hard copy proofs to you, free of charge.
Some customers just want to visualise or in the case of a hard copy, see the quality of their order and how it will actually look when printed.
So for example this customer wanted to see the colour match of his disc to the digipak:
It can be the case that printed parts will not exactly match the colour of the same colour upload, when its printed on a disc…just the fact that they are printed on different mediums can affect the tone of the colour sometimes.
In the case of a hard copy proof we print 2 copies and hold 1 here as a control and post the other to you by Royal Mail.
You then have the option to approve straight away if you are happy with the print or to alter it by uploading new artwork to us.
We will always work with you to get the best result possible for your order.
Not everyone wants or needs this so if you do, just need to mention that you would like this in the notes (which is a free field text section) as you check out.

Revive Innovations are a start up company in Bristol .
They produce a new signature material called RE-CD which uses our waste discs to produce a new beautiful & robust material.
This is then manufactured using common workshop tools and processes into peices of furniture, jewellery and many other products. Production has low emissions and products are repairable and reprocessable.
The finish on products is sanded and polished to either a matt or gloss finish.
It is made from 100% recycled discs whether they are Cds, Dvds or Blu-Ray.
The physical properties of RE-CD is durable, hardwearing and temperature resistant.
The end product is a unique sustainable composite material.

We are delighted, in fact over the moon, to partner with Revive Innovations to recycle our waste discs.
For a long time we have struggled to find a viable long term way of recycling discs.
We build up unwanted discs when, for example a machine does a “bad” print or our burners reject a disc.
Over time these mount up and apart from a few small projects, we have never found anywhere to recycle these on a longterm basis.
More news next week on Revive Innovations and the new life breathed in to our rejected discs.

We are very proud to work with Bonnier Books on the production of the Audio CD for the series broadcast on BBC2 called Gone Fishing with Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer.
These are still available to purchase and are a really funny extended audio version of the days spent fishing together,in various locations in the UK.
Bonnier Books are promoters of great and absorbing audio books .
Its worth having a look at their new titles available in hard copy book format as well as audio cd digpaks.

Chatting to a customer yesterday made me think about how much we are able to recycle and be eco-friendly, even in our industry which has traditionally been very plastic orientated.
We have promoted all our Eco-friendly products for some years and we only use FSC Certified and Sustainable Card and Paper.
In addition to that we recycle all incoming supplies boxes and use them to double box and protect our outgoing orders.
Our general ethos is to try to recycle anything we can …from bubble bags, & boxes to over-run discs / spoiled discs.
All of this makes sense to protect our environment and makes great business sense too .
Let me know if you have any other ideas that we can adopt ,which maybe i havent thought of !

Lots of people ask us what is the best way to send content to us for CD & DVD duplication.
The choice is yours; you lose no quality whichever way you decide to send it to us.
You can either send us a hard copy master in the post or upload your files to us here to create a master for you.
We have to have a physical master for the duplication process to work so if you send files to us we create a cd/dvd master from those.
We can create a master disc from WAv Files,ISO,IMG,NRG. DDP or Bin/Cue
If you choose to send your files to us electronically you receive a link from us by email after you check out and this allows you to upload to us by WeTransfer. If you choose this option on check out is costs either £10 or £25 depending on which files you are sending and whether you need metadata adding.

We have massively decreased the price of all our card products for two reasons:
To give you a boost to buy in your merchandise to sell at your gigs; it will make your money go a bit further!
To promote the use of eco-friendly card products in our industry, which is historically very plastic orientated.
The price drop includes single card wallets, double card wallets, lancing packs and digipaks.
