Thursday, January 28th, 2021Depending on who you ask, live music will be back possibly after Easter or maybe the summer…but some say it could be the end of the year. As with so much at the moment future of live music is rather an uncertain entity but the coming months should start to bring a gradual unveiling of what is going to happen this year.
Even with a vaccine , it will also be a while before tours can go back to normal.
Newcastles Gosforth Park held a series of socially distanced gigs last summer but it is still unclear whether this is an option going forward for the near future.
While we know that some bands already have concerts scheduled for this year there are others already cancelling 2021 plans .

What we can say for sure is that we miss our live music and look forward to better times when we can all enjoy this again.

We are still seeing many “Lockdown Sessions” and recordings being released as albums in their own right.

Will my song titles show when I play my CD in a computer?6th August 2020
Thursday, August 6th, 2020Computers use an online database to display CD information, the most common one is known as Gracenote, a more detailed article on Gracenote can be found here Gracenote CD Database and CD-TEXT.
Tunes and Windows Media Player DO NOT read and CD-Text embedded on the actual CD, at all! This is common for all computer CD player software.
When the CD information is displayed on a computer, the info is coming from an online database. The database is usually Gracenote (the more common) or AllMusic.
The Gracenote database serves CD information to: iTunes, WinAmp, Quintessential Media Player, and Finder (Mac OS). The AllMusic database serves CD information to: Windows Media Player, Rhapsody, and Real Music Player.
Registration on these databases must be completed by you, the client, rather than us as no extra information is added to the CD for them to work.

Friday, May 29th, 2020In the duplication process we have to use a hard copy disc master to work from, and in the past our customers have largley sent these to us by post…..and many still do!
We have however found it particularly helpful during the lockdown period that we are able to accept customers masters digitally and create a hard copy master to work from here. With queues at the Post Offices because of social distancing and less staff working it has been a really helpful.
We can create masters from your files if you have an electronic image in ISO, JMG, NRG, DDP or BIN /CUE or you can send us audio or video files which need authoring.
